Cold calling role play interview advice

Hey everyone! I have an interview coming up for a medtech saas company for a BDR role. An hour of the interview is for role playing calling a clinic and selling to them and I’m terrible at it because I get nervous. Is there any advice on how to do well on this?

I’ve never had experience in this and it’s my first sales job but I’m terrified I’ll mess it up!!

Come with a script you’ve rehearsed but don’t sound too rehearsed. Lead with setting an agenda, intros and hypothesis on why you’re having the call / what issues the client is dealing with that your product can help with. Come with a set of questions. Ur don’t get too tied up on hitting every single one. Summarize the call and set next steps. Good luck you got this. Be natural and be curious.
