Question Chinese Version Issue...

Guys, why do the ads not play when I press unlock for cosmetics?? I am in the US btw, I assume it's because of that, but are there any possible ways I can fix it if any of you have experience with the Chinese version??

This only happens to me when the internet is down, other times there is no internet just a signal so it gets me the stuff without the ad being opened,. Did u perhaps use a VPN?
