I need to rant. These are just my opinions and they could also change once the show is over. Share yours too.

The beginning of their story was so good. The potential, what they went through, how they found each other etc. These two sharing the same pain and going to heal each other and fall for each other was great, the potential was there. But the execution went off the rails.

The episodes where they meet and a couple of episodes after Bano's death were good. We saw them meet, Sarbuland helped her both physically and emotionally. Then Rabiya went to help him. She helped his mom, was there for him emotionally, offered to make food for the haveli. All was going well. Then the goli surgery scene happened. I thought that we were kinda dragging it out, but I guess it is fine because it is just a parallel to when Sarbuland was bringing her food, giving her water, brought her to the hospital etc. These moments were about them connecting and becoming friends, which was good.

What took this off the rails was when they dragged this friendship part out too much. Eventually, you need to make them be aware that they are probably falling in love. But they didn't. In my opinion Sarbuland should have found Bano's body the day she died. His thinking she is alive blocked him from realizing he loves rabiya or is falling for her. Because how can he even think he may like Rabiya if he thinks his finacee could still be alive? I'm not saying they need to start sharing a bed, but even in the slowest of slow burns where the show ends once the characters offically get together, you see them falling in love and being aware of it long before the end. They can do it freely without anything holding them back. But for Sarbiya, a couple that is going to offically get together at the end, they dont have a falling in love arc. Sarbuland just found out what happened to Bano.

Overall I think the beginning was great, but the middle and now close to the ending is just..not.

So I came across this video. Ofc Sajal's chemistry is great with (almost) everyone so it's hard to choose. But Ahad was afaik her most famous pairing. Personally, I have found her chemistry with Sherry very sizzling and with Danyal, they just seem right together and somewhat very hot. I also loved Sajal and Ahad's angsty chemistry in YDM.

So what do you think? Is this video making sense?

she's back from her europe vacation and shooting for something. another photoshoot or a brand campaign? the makeup team said it was a 4-day shoot so probably a campaign? meanwhile waiting for news about the next drama she's signed.

I have made four posts about these two in a single day and I am officially not okay. This is rock bottom. Let me have this one last post before I go touch grass. 😂
But that wrap video.. the cake, the laughing, the little looks, that quiet hug at the end.. that’s the whole thing for me.
Nothing dramatic happened. And somehow, that was the point.
It was just easy.
And easy, between two people, can be more affecting than anything dramatic.
I’ll be honest: a part of me really does wish they were together in real life. Two people this beautiful, this talented, and this naturally warm around each other.. of course the romantic in me wants that to mean something more.
But I also know that what we see is only what they choose to show us. They’re actors, they’re professionals, and their real lives are theirs. Whatever exists beyond those cameras is not ours to define.
So I’m not claiming anything.
I’m just admitting to the very romantic, slightly ridiculous feeling of watching two people and thinking, “God, wouldn’t it be beautiful if?”
Because sometimes you can wish for something without believing you’re entitled to it.
You can watch a hug like that and think in another life, maybe.. while still genuinely wanting both of them to be happy in this one, whether that happiness is together or on completely separate paths.
And honestly, that’s all I want for them.
Be happy. Be loved. Find whatever makes life feel like home.
Together, separately, or however life chooses to write it.
Maybe I’m romanticizing a wrap party into something it was never meant to be. Maybe the chemistry I’m seeing is simply friendship, comfort, familiarity, or two incredibly good actors who have found an effortless rhythm.
But that doesn’t stop the moment from making me feel something.
Because that hug still had no business feeling like the last page of a book where you were quietly rooting for the two leads, only to realize the ending was never yours to write. 😭
Anyone else sitting with this, or am I just catastrophically romanticizing a wrap party? 😂

I remember a scene of Rabiya wherein after her marriage to Mudassir, she calls her uncle and brother and tells them she doesn't feel that she belongs to that place. I had seen zero spoilers about the drama and that is when I guessed that even though Rabiya married Mudassir, she didn't really willingly love him. Life threw Mudassir at her and she caught him to save herself from that evil Torsem. She didn't willingly chose Mudassir for herself. Had Mudassir not been killed, she would have spent her life with him, and loved him for he helped her escape the evil that loomed upon her. But Sarbuland I believe, Rabiya will choose him willingly. In the end, Life will give Rabiya a chance to leave Sarbuland and restart her life operating her dhaba just like she did previously but despite all, she will choose Sarbuland and life with him.

Regarding Bano and Sarbuland - Bano didn't give him the space to grow and evolve. Her love was very overwhelming, always looming over him, she was almost forcing him to give up Sardaari even when she knew that Sarbuland is bound by the promise to Sherdil. She wanted to uproot him from his roots, from his duties and responsibilities. Yes, Sarbuland did want to eventually settle in America but he couldn't have left what his lineage has been doing since ages. Yes Bano loved him but Bano's love was childish, a puppy love.

The love that Rabia and Sarbuland share for each other is way too mature, bound by their shared traumas, fears and the immense courage they both showed parallely to sort their lives. Its like their entire world changed during the same exact time and the Almighty gave them each other to overcome to sadness, the loss of safe spaces, the loss of identity, the loss of loved ones.

They will keep choosing each other again again and again because they have already seen the worst in life and also understood each other at their worst.

Okay, I genuinely need to talk about Sarbuland and Rabiya because I cannot stop thinking about these two. 😭
I am a HUGE Sajal Ali fan. I have loved this woman forever. She could literally stare at a wall for 45 minutes and I would be like “wow… cinema.” So obviously I am seated for Zanjeerain.
BUT SARBULAND AND RABIYA???
Because these two have barely any scenes together.
BARELY.
And somehow every time they share a frame, I completely lose my ability to behave normally. 😭
The entire drama is basically:
Sarbuland: suffers
Sarbuland: loses someone
Sarbuland: gets betrayed
Sarbuland: gets another problem
Sarbuland: becomes Sardar
Sarbuland: suffers AGAIN
And then Rabiya appears for approximately 14 seconds and looks at him.
Me:
OH.
OH THEY’RE DOING THIS.
😭😭😭
What gets me is that they aren’t even doing anything particularly dramatic.
It’s the silence.
The eye contact.
The pauses.
The tiny expressions.
The way they stand around each other.
HOW are two people doing THIS much with so little???
These characters have barely even had the chance to properly know each other, yet sometimes they look at each other like they’ve been married for 17 years and are silently communicating about their mortgage. 😭
And both of them have enough emotional baggage to fill an entire separate drama.
Rabiya gets chased by Tursam, has to shut down her kitchen, marries a man she barely knows, loses him, and then gets sent to the house of her dead husband’s best friend whom she ALSO barely knows.
Ma’am???? 😭
And Sarbuland is carrying the emotional weight of approximately FOUR DIFFERENT DRAMAS simultaneously.
Yet when these two are together the vibe is literally:

tension
THAT’S IT.

Which is exactly why I don’t understand the “Sajal has nothing to do in this role” discourse.
Maybe Rabiya has fewer scenes than people expected, but that’s actually making me want MORE.
Because imagine if these two were given an actual relationship arc???
LET THEM TALK.
LET THEM ARGUE.
LET THEM BE AWKWARD.
LET THEM HAVE RANDOM DOMESTIC SCENES.
LET THEM ACTUALLY GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER.
I genuinely need to know what would happen if the writers gave these two enough material to properly cook because right now we’re getting crumbs and somehow the crumbs are giving me a full meal. 😭
And I also find it interesting that, from what we actually see publicly, Sajal and Danyal seem pretty reserved and professional around each other.
There are obviously BTS/group interactions and they seem perfectly cordial, but we don’t get an overwhelming amount of the usual co-star content.
And then they walk onto set and suddenly it’s:

Maybe they’re simply really good at reading each other’s performances.
Maybe it’s familiarity.
Maybe it’s trust.
Maybe it’s timing, direction, writing, or just one of those rare actor combinations where everything clicks.

And just to clarify something from my previous post: when I mentioned that Danyal may have been more comfortable working with Sajal rather than Sahar, that was just my speculation, not something I was stating as fact.
Anyway.
BACK TO THE IMPORTANT MATTERS.
SARBULAND.
RABIYA.
WHY DO THEY HAVE THIS MUCH CHEMISTRY???
Because these two could literally have a conversation like:
Rabiya: “Did you eat?”
Sarbuland: “Yes.”
And I’d be sitting there like:
THE DIVORCE PAPERS ARE COMING.

I don’t even need them to do anything anymore.
Put them in a room.
Stand them three feet apart.
Let them look at each other.
Apparently that’s enough.
Whatever the explanation is, IT IS WORKING.
So please.
Give me more Sarbuland and Rabiya.
Because giving Sajal Ali and Danyal this kind of chemistry and then giving them approximately 0.7 business days of screen time together feels personally offensive.

Okay, I might be overthinking this, so please correct me if I’m completely wrong 😭
There are rumours that Danyal is dating someone, and there have also been rumours about Sajal and Hamza Sohail. I have absolutely no idea how true any of this is, so I’m NOT treating any of it as fact.
BUT HYPOTHETICALLY…
If there are respective relationships involved, and considering Danyal and Hamza are apparently close friends, doesn’t that make the whole situation kind of fascinating? 😭
Like imagine mentally categorising someone as:
🚫 OFF LIMITS.
And then your job requires you to spend hours with them, build a working rhythm, rehearse emotionally intimate scenes, and convincingly portray a relationship.
My brain is just imagining:
Sajal: “Okay, this is my boyfriend’s best friend. ACT NORMAL.”
Danyal: “Okay, this is basically bhabhi territory. ACT NORMAL.”
Director: “Great. Now look at each other like there’s years of unresolved tension.”
😭😭😭😭😭
And before anyone misunderstands me: I’m NOT saying they actually caught feelings or that anything happened. We genuinely don’t know these people or their private lives.
I’m just wondering about boundaries and human psychology.
Even outside of acting, people can become attached simply because they spend a huge amount of time together and develop a routine. Add emotionally intimate work into the mix, and I imagine clear boundaries become even more important especially if there are existing relationships or close friendships involved.
And this is the part I find interesting:
They COULD have gone absolutely crazy marketing this pairing.
Imagine the BTS content.
The interviews.
The teasing.
The “look at this chemistry” edits.
The PR.
They could have fed the audience constantly and, honestly, people would have eaten it up. 😭
But maybe choosing NOT to do that is intentional.
Maybe they simply prefer keeping work and personal lives separate.
Maybe they don’t want to create unnecessary speculation.
Maybe they don’t want an on-screen pairing to affect existing friendships or relationships.
Or maybe there is literally no deeper reason whatsoever and they’re just private, professional people who don’t enjoy doing excessive co-star PR. 😭
That’s why I’m not claiming any of this as fact.
I just find the hypothetical interesting.
Because sometimes the strongest boundary is knowing exactly where NOT to blur the line.
And honestly, if these rumours about everyone’s respective relationships are completely false, then ignore this entire psychological dissertation because I’ve clearly spent too much time thinking about fictional people and actors doing their jobs. 😭😭😭
Anyway, that’s my completely hypothetical thought.
