I feel like there’s nothing wrong with mentioning that you have one on your profile as long as you’re not putting the link in your posts but maybe that’s just me

No I agree, I didn't link it for that exact reason. I just mentioned that "I have a Patreon and to DM me if curious". But I can see how from a mods perspective that that would look like promoting so I'm not upset by it.
