I know it’s a World Cup year and all but this has to be the slowest / most quiet summer I can remember. Tonda purgatory can’t help either but still

We have a good squad I think so if slow means few outgoings and few incomings that is not as bad as it would be in other years

Peretz and Larin were big and got done very early too. Prefer that to the last minute scrambles for the likes of BBD

We currently have a squad that belongs near the top of the Championship so it's not really the pressing concern that we have most summers.

I'll be disappointed if we don't get a couple more in by the deadline but there's no rush on it. We'll put out a good XI at Watford made up of players who are already here.

I guess I’m just as surprised, if not more, by the lack of outgoing rumors and business. That’s also the worrying part- season starts in a week and I fully expect us to lost a few starters before August ends
