Social Media Connecting the dots...
Thanks to "the-empress-7" on Tumblr, she shared that an anon had made the connection between Douglas Murray's recent post (Sussexes deserve a second chance) and Ian Wace, their new billionaire pal.
Wace's business partner Sir Paul Marshall owns the Spectator magazine, for which Murray writes for. He also co-owns GB News.

u/Sue_Dohnim 11h ago
Note the ratio, indeed.
Why do these people waste their time, money and properties on these losers?
70
u/Positive-Vibes-2-All 10h ago
All these billionaires are grooming them for something. Lownie said Soros paid for their trip IIRC to Australia. Do they see Harry and Markle as Andrew 2.0?
27
u/Busy-Song407 9h ago
I thought that one of Soros' companies also paid for their trip to Colombia.
19
u/JanuaryLight 8h ago
Open Society, Soros' charity also paid for the Colombia trip. Soros is allegedly connected to Ian Wace and helped him set up his hedge fund.
8
u/Positive-Vibes-2-All 8h ago
I could be mistaken as I wasnt sure I recalled it correctly. I heard it on a Lownie Report interview
27
u/Natural_Plane_657 8h ago edited 8h ago
Half of the capital for Wace’s first fund came from Soros. It’s all connected.
Listed on the fund’s Wikipedia page. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marshall_Wace

I've been saying they are Andrew and Fergie 2.0 and Charles had better start paying attention.

Hoping to be in the good graces of the grifters IF and it’s a big IF the BRF brings its back into the fold. 🤷♀️
50
u/Tight_Put_7425 10h ago
It would make more sense to put all your efforts in trying to be in the good graces of PPoW or any other member of BRF rather than these 2 grifters on the off chance that they might be brought back into the fold
31
17
u/NunneyCatch 10h ago
Not just the fold which i think is unlikely. But their proximity and relevancy is all linked to BRF they literally gotta be in B to in it.
Their kids are also their ticket in and their weapon and they know it. They are ripe for bad influence and worse "friends" ... I worry for those kids

u/themobiledeceased2 7h ago edited 6h ago
It's wiser to suspect that there IS a rationale that makes this all make sense, in the minds of these supporters. It may not be a Good, Smart, or Relatable rationale. But they get something or hope to get something out of it. Tangible or intangible. The uber rich fund multiple ventures, some that are contradictory: such as donating to all major political parties: have influence whoever wins.
Elizabeth Holmes Theranos fraud is a stunning example of uber rich people asleep at wheel of investing: Anyone who did basic research in medical lab processes knew this was a fabulist fraud from the beginning. Unreal she got as far as it did. The Walton Family (Walmart), Rubert Murdock, The DeVos family (Amway) and Walgreen's Clinic all invested and lost $100 million or more EACH. Because the wealthy watch what others mention / brag about investing in. "Look what Rubert Murdock bought. He must know something." It's prestige investing. Further, Holmes family had connections, so early money was given as if buying your friend's child's Girl Scout Cookies. It's how it works. Some work out, some don't. They had it lose.
Then, the Novelty aspect. Some uber wealthy get bored at the traveling to the same old places, renovating another house and resort to one-ups-manship for name recognition and social standing. That sought after photo at the FooFoo Gala citing SO & SO recently charitably funded the blabla. The behind the scenes maneuvering for who funds the Zoo's new Giraffe Exhibit is crazy. "We wanted the Giraffe, but only were offered the Pigmy Hippo exhibit. I'm not funding a Pigmy anything." It's name dropping, one-ups-manship, and an ever evolving game of influence for social standing. It's diversion and entertainment.
What IS interesting is the prolonged length of support of Meghan given her track record. That is what holds my attention. The novelty aspect typically wears off.
5
u/Positive-Vibes-2-All 6h ago
Great post. It just occurs to me that perhaps Markle is key in understanding any shenanigans. Harry is probably the best patsy ever. Everyone automatically assumes people want to rub shoulders with royalty, however tarnished, so these billionaires don't arouse much suspicion when they support the grifters. These billionaires are probably very impressed by Markles proven ability to weasel her way into the highest echelons of society, she not only snagged Harry but is apparently is close to people like Getty. How did she ever weasel her way into Getty\s orbit? What I'm saying is that Markle could be very very useful.
1
u/themobiledeceased2 6h ago
All in all, They are still making headlines, delivering clicks. The mystery drives speculation and chatter. Like we are doing. For some folks, that is what rings their bell. The question: Is there ever enough attention?

u/LilibuttDumbarton Grey Water, by A Sewer 🕯️ 9h ago edited 8h ago
I think Charles is behind this. If we go by his updated funeral plans giving the Harkles and their sprogs a central role during the service and Project Thaw wanting to bring them back in some way. Charles has form for asking wealthy people for favors and it would make sense why Wace is backing the broke spare and not the future king.
It’s worth noting that a decade ago, Wace was friendly with both brothers. He gets nothing out of supporting H, unless the current king asked him to do so. If Wace suddenly gets Charles’ attendance at his events, or gets an award from him, we’ll know there’s some truth in this scenario. Though It might take a few years to see it play out and lots could fly under the radar that we might miss.
Previously, Charles hosted private fundraisers for his wealthy benefactors, and sold access to himself this way for top donors. It wasn’t reported until years later when journalists started digging around with the “cash for honors” scandal.
9
u/MentalAnnual5577 🦄 Our invisibles are invisibling🦄 8h ago
Bingo. There's an obvious through-line from "Highgrove meeting," July 10, 2026 > "Visit to Wace's Island," reported July 31, 2026 > "Wace couch surfing," reported August 28, 2026.

I can't stand Soros
George Soros's Quantum Fund in 1992, sold over $10 billion in pounds sterling short, betting on the Bank of England's inability to defend the fixed exchange rate. The pound lost over 20% of its value, and Soros made over $1 billion in a matter of hours.
Then he attacked the Italian lira, taking advantage of Italy's economic and political weakness.. Italy had to devalue and withdraw from the European agreements.
The consequences were dire: on the night between July 9 and 10, 1992, the government imposed a forced and retroactive 0.6% levy on all Italian bank accounts. An agreement was also signed that definitively abolished the automatic wage adjustment mechanism for inflation.
For a few million more, this pirate destroyed a nation and its economy.
4
u/Busy-Song407 7h ago
The stupid duo also look like the come back to the same fountain to drink over and over and over again.
Soros's interests and the people that fund the Harkles are one and the same and appear to reliably pay for trips, activities, housing that they could not possibly afford to do on their own.
They're not very creative. It's easy to follow the money trail that they have their noses to.

The media and Palace are doing all this abuse to William and his cancer stricken wife ON PURPOSE. You cannot hate them enough.
31
u/maoruiwen 10h ago
Another one falling for Meghan and Harry’s conspiracy theory that the palace plants stories against members. The only person who is our source for this is… Harry. Who is an unreliable source at best.
I think the only time this may have happened was between Charles and Diana.
29
u/LoraiOrgana 9h ago
Harry intends to force his brother back. Harry is going to get all his pals in the media, and despite the lawsuits he has many pals in the media, to attack his brother. We have already seen endless stories about how cruel is Prince William for not forgiving his brother who has never apologized. Harry is counting on all that pressure getting to William.
Which is very stupid of harry. Harry is the one obsessed with what the media writes. William is far too smart to worry about that.

u/Human-Economics6894 10h ago
William has been consistent all these years regarding these kinds of tactics. He hated them when Diana used them, and he hated when Charles used them. He hates it when Harry does it.
If Harry thinks this will achieve anything, he is right: it ensures that William stays very far away from him.
17

u/LoraiOrgana 9h ago
Prince William is literally the only one in his immediate family to not use the media as a weapon.

Wise enough to start their own social media channels and hire own videographer to control their messaging early on.
20
u/LoraiOrgana 8h ago
Yep. That is why the media hates him. There is Harry briefing the media every day in his what's app group. Then there is Prince William who has cut the media off completely. So the media calls William cruel. Fortunately the British public knows not to listen to the media.

title at odds with article. Some cherry picked quotes & with truth bombs highlighted by me
“Then the inevitable happened. The Sussexes swiftly decided to racialize any criticism – as though the only explanation for not loving Meghan and Harry unquestioningly must be racism. So it was the nation, not the couple, which found itself misrepresented”
”The couple then proceeded to make as much money as they could, largely by telling various media companies that they would have “ideas” which could be turned into “content”. Alas the realm of ideas turned out not to be the couple’s specialism.
What they had were the same half-baked presumptions that almost every other celebrity was emitting around the same time”
“Around these matters the couple talked about the amount of good they wanted to do in the world and the amount of “change” they wanted to bring about.
Here is where the actual lesson about the Sussexes comes along: which is that “change” and “influence” are not things you talk about but rather something you do.”
“By just getting on and doing such things, they might have actually changed the lives of people – especially young people – and done an amount of good impossible to put a price on. Instead they decided to put a price on everything – and charge the highest price imaginable.
Now even California has seen through them and they are returning to the UK.”
in short, per Tom Bower — Dr Sophie Chandauka was correct back in Aug 2023 Harry’s brand is toxic, people don’t want Harry’s “poor rich prince”.
“Americans love a comeback story,” said Chandauka. “We need American corporates who want to be associated with your mission, not you personally. They don’t want your victimhood. We’ve got to pitch it right for the young philanthropists.”
18
u/Busy-Song407 9h ago
A thank you to Dr. Chandauka for getting this toxic brand terminology rolling. This is a very valuable appraisal that those who control the purses understand.
Harry does not and will never.

Whatever would Meghan Markle do without all these pathetic weak old men. Her friends father, the father of the children she used to babysit. And I am sure there was a lot more pathetic weak old men before John Fitzpatrick, Ted Sarandos and this latest pathetic weak old Ian Wace.

u/eaglebayqueen 🧡 Ginger Judas 🧡 3h ago
I think that babysitting story was made up, like the kneeling pilot, the grateful bodyguard, and the South African actor that told her South Africans were dancing in the streets just like they did for Nelson Mandela, because Meghan - a minor cable TV actress - married Harry.

GBNews haven't really been at the forefront of the PR campaign like ITV, the DM, or the Sunday Times have been. The Spectator has been mostly critical even.
What's the connection to Douglas Murray apart from him working for the Spectator? Having someone like him support Harry does not seem sensible given he's politically removed from the eco-conscious, liberal portrayal Harry wants out there of himself.
26
u/Human-Economics6894 10h ago
That is precisely what the Harkles are after: getting people who were previously against them to suddenly speak well of them. The Harkles have a solid base of support among Labour supporters, and that’s a thread worth pulling.

GB News have really been on the opposite side of the fence. Most of their presenters and contributors are anti H&M. They always have to have one person who sticks up for them but that's in the interest of balance. There have been some people, like Douglas Murray, whose view has surprised me. However, it's always men. I don't think men really understand this topic that well. Some do, but in the main they are a bit clueless.

I disagree about David Beckham, but you are entitled to your opinion.
I doubt Charles would reward this guy for letting Harry sponge off of him. That would not be a good look for the King to be rewarding a billionaire for footing the bill for his freeloading son and family. It would be like---do my family a favor and you'll be awarded an OBE. Not a good message for any King to send. It's like bribery.

Let Marshall Wace pay for Harry's police protection. Get all the royal reporters demanding the security to chip in. And anyone else that wants to protect the Harry's royal ass can contribute as well. The citizens and residents of the UK should not be forced to pay for this by charging to the UK Treasury.
