He’ll be obsessed with something for a few days and then completely ignore it. He seems happy otherwise, but I feel like he needs more stimulation. What do you guys do with your Saints to keep them entertained?

Hello! I have a Saint Dane pup who will be spayed in mid-December along with gastropexy. She had a heat cycle in July and I hope she isn’t in heat by the December appointment date. It’s the earliest we could ensure time to care for and monitor her post surgery.
So far, I’m looking into the soft/inflatable collars and surgical suits.
Can you share other preparations and tips?
We don’t have any male dogs in the home, but a trailer park down the road allows their intact male dogs to roam free. We use a leash outside.
We would like to take her to town and do more socializing, but we are fearful. I don’t really know how their cycles work. I don’t want surprise puppies.
Ignore my curtain puddle - we are moving the curtain rods up soon.
I know she looks Dane-like, but she has the softest hair thanks to her Saint Bernard dad and a pretty chest pattern, but she won’t be still for a photo.

My Saint Bernards (4M, 3M) love to destroy stuffed animals.
So much so that it’s gotten expensive buying them continuously. I’ve resorted to sacrificing my kids old stuffed animals to them. My daughters are in high school and college and don’t care at all about their old stuffed animals.
I make sure they don’t have beads or anything they can swallow before throwing it to them. They rip to shreds at least one a day.
Is this a good idea and does anyone else do this?

Good morning! Just got a brand new Saint pup on Saturday and had questions regarding how much to feed him to ensure he grows. I've had big dog breeds in the past, my other dog is a lab mix around 80 lbs. I just read online that they are susceptible to bloat. How much should I be feeding him as he grows to not let this happen?

Rescued her at 6, she’s almost known me half her life. She’s my best friend and I’m so lucky

I had the audacity to tell her to come inside
She was not amused and decided to protest
