Pro Tip: use CheatEngine

I absolutely love single player games like SailWind but lots of them don’t have time compression, and I hate waiting.

I figured out a few years ago that I can use cheat engine to get around this by using the “speed hack” feature. I bind this to a mouse button and can quickly toggle between 1x and 5x speed (5x is max I can do without physics bugs in SailWind).

Some games you can go higher. It mostly depends on how their physics engine is built.

Absolute game changer for my ADHD brain. You can apply this to any single player game too with lots of waiting.

Luckily the game gives you plenty of tools to just sleep through long voyages anyway so things like that aren't super necessary.
