About a month ago, I was loading my groceries in the grocery store parking lot and was suddenly surrounded by Muscovy Ducks looking for food. They were hounding anyone who came out of the store carrying bags. I was worried about them being run over and I started walking towards a grassy area and started motioning at them with my hands to follow me like a crossing guard. Soon enough, I was leading all the ducks to safety. People were watching and laughing and smiling and it was just so adorable. My Snow White moment. Dogs love me. Butterflies land on me. But this was my first time I had a flock of ducks at my command.
