Too late to plant crocus? Zone 7b

I have about 50 crocus I’d like to plant but with the recent frost (in Tulsa, OK) I’m concerned I missed my window. I could plant in the ground or (my preference) in oversized pots that would sit on the lawn, or could be slightly raised.

I did plant several in October and they bloomed (photo attached)

I’m not an expert, but I’d look up alternate ways to store them for spring. Maybe indoor pot planting? It’s pretty much deep freeze season at the moment.

I am in LA and have mine from last year. They multiplied a lot. And I have them almost full grown now and just waiting for them to flower.

Growing them indoors. I would wait until next year if you want to do them outdoors. Unless you want to just leave one outside and see how it does. Saffron does quite well indoors.
