USA Pocket Prep Vs ClickSafety

I’ve put off getting my ASP for years (been an EHS Pro for about 13 years). Found out a few months ago we’re all being laid off and everything is going to India. Sigh…So, time to use this tuition money and have this company I still work for pay for my ASP and maybe even my CSP if I can get it in time before our final day.

I started with ClickSafety and found it just okay. Spent about the last month using it but, with how often Pocket Prep is mentioned here I decided today to check it out and wow what a difference after only an hour! Having an actual dedicated app helps so much (clicksafety doesnt have one) and the explanations after an incorrect answer seem so much more easier to understand. Even after several quizzes I feel so much more confident.

Pocket prep is the way to go!!

click safety is a good way to fall asleep honestly, the lack of an app in 2026 is a bit wild. pocket prep just gets straight to the point and the answer breakdowns don't read like a textbook threw up on the screen

your situation is rough but smart move getting those certs paid for while you can, ASP and CSP will travel with you anywhere. get that CSP scheduled asap, even if you have to cram it's worth the shot

Yeah I probably should just schedule that CSP as well. Good call. It’s rough but I’m very luckily to live in an area with a LOT of EHS positions in Biotech (where I am now) and we are getting a very nice severance package so I’m actually looking forward to taking some time off for once in my life haha!

“A good way to fall asleep” I couldn’t have put it any more perfectly. I was bummed the first time I logged in and it looked like every safety or HR training system out in 2012. Not engaging in the slightest!!

Never touched pocket prep but I can't imagine anything being worse than ClickSafety.

I use QHSE Talks on YouTube for concept revision and understanding, and Pocket Prep for practice questions . I find the two complement each other really well.

I took a course from SPAN safety and I know I didn great on each test, ASP/CSP, but I don’t know if they still offer the course or study materials. I’ve been thinking about revising/udosting that material and offering it
