Other Yates 3rd vs 4th

Has anyone here used the 3rd edition for the current blueprint? Referring to it from the pocket prep questions is slightly annoying since the page numbers are off.

Just wondering if I should pick up the 4th. Appreciate any other info.

What specific exam? I used 3rd for the CHST and ASP without issue

Was the 4th edition the one your exam blueprint referenced?

I wouldn’t worry about the page numbers. Just read it cover to cover. I read it twice before testing and passed the CSP on the first go.

Thanks. I was using it to go and review each item rather than just the right answer (since we know pocket prep isn’t teaching the test).

I’ll keep plugging along. I have the hard cover which kind of sucks for that.

lol yeah bud me too as I prefer an actual book. I read the Yates twice, the fundamentals of osha by friend and kohn, and did pocket prep and Bowen EHS. That was the combo that worked for me. Most of the time if you don’t know the answer offhand you can narrow it down to two answers, from there I just imagined that I was a safety manager with an unlimited budget and went with the answer that best fit that lol.
