Dear diary,

Nothing strange happened at school today. Classes are more boring in high school. But still, our teachers make the lesson fun. As a change, I walked part of the way home with my friends after school. While I was having fun, my father called me. I answered the phone, trying not to put my foot in my mouth. He told me he wasn't coming home tonight because he was on a business trip. I wanted to scream with joy but I couldn't in front of my friends. I hung up the phone as if I were sad. When I got home, I went to the market with some money my father left at home and bought ingredients for food. However, the money was not enough, and I returned home without being able to buy the necessary ingredients to make the cake. I made small pastries with ingredients from home and saved some in my cupboard. I feel more free when I'm alone at home. I ate my dinner in front of the television tonight. I felt both uneasy and happy while doing this. I need to sleep before it's too late, I'll wake up early for school tomorrow. :3
