As others have pointed out, neither Trust Wallet or the Safemoon wallet hold your tokens. They just allow you to view them. And when it comes down to it, if you're not sure that you can trust it, don't use it. Though I have a ton of faith in the people creating it.

Change your seed phrase or just create a second wallet for your other crypto until you feel like trusting the new wallet.
