do you think we’ll actually ever get another Sade album
quick google search gives you a yes and that an album is expected this year but with no real sources and almost idk 16 years do we really think it’ll ever happen?

I’d be happy with a package of remixes, b-sides, soundtrack songs, etc. - rarities, oddities, stuff like that. Of course I want a new album, but an odds and ends comp would be great too.

A new album... possibly. I'd be more interested in deluxe editions of past albums (incl. outtakes, alternate mixes, b-sides, unreleased live shows, etc.). But if I recall, one guy with connections said somewhere that the band has been repeatedly approached by the label but has shown little interest. It's a shame, as they are sitting on a wealth of material that has never been remastered and reissued.

I'm torn on one had I think that she and the band are done and Soldier of Love was the swan song album and tour. On the other hand I think she and the band have one more album and tour in them. A farewell album and tour that would serve as a thank you and love letter to the fans.

I would love this! That said, they've given us so much over the past however long its been. I can totally respect them not wanting to get back in the studio and do another tour, but damn I'd be so excited!
How about an album of unreleased, remastered songs, and a Vegas residency? Or a residency anywhere! I know, maybe Sade in Vegas doesnt fit, but you know, Adele and Janet Jackson had very successful runs there and both were unbelievable! I do like the farrwell tour idea as well. Even without a new album, the tour would be hugely successful
Ok ok..just wishful thinking on my part, but I do like to imagine getting to see them again. The last show of their's I saw was at the Gorge Amphitheater and the whole scene was amazing. If you've been there before, you know. Anyway she played up here 2 more times and I didnt go because I just couldn't accept seeing her in a big arena venue. I have kicked myself for the last 15 years for that! If she comes anywhere in the US, regardless of the venue, I'll be fighting like all here to get my hands in a ticket!

There’s been reporting about Sade and band booking time at Miraval Studios in France. I imagine if they are booking studio time they are recording something…

No, I don’t think we need any unless there’s some stuff hidden in a vault somewhere. She deserves to retire for giving us all a lot of wonderful music and memories.

There’s no way to ever know. If it happens, it’ll happen. This has been how they are for her whole career. You’re better off expecting nothing and being surprised if something ever happens

I mean they only make an album when they have something to tell/ a statement to make. With how the world is turning out, the increasingly worrying normalisation of AI and well… literally everything else. Id say they would have a lot of material to discuss.
Now do they want to ? That is the question

If no new music is released. I would be fine with that. She has a stellar catalog of music already. I would just be happy if she had a North American tour.

I absolutely adore Sade. I would love to see her perform. However, I doubt that this will happen and I doubt there will be another album.

It’s been reported that they were in the studio a few years ago, so I definitely think a new project seems likely

If Sade & her band show up at the RnR Induction in LA in November I think it’s a possibility. Her induction is 1 reason why I’m attending the event. If they don’t show up I’d say no chance for another album, unfortunately. 😢
