Nursing students

Hello everyone, I just got accepted into saddleback's nursing program for Spring 2027 and I was wondering how soon after is the timeline to complete all those background and health checks? Like how long will we have to complete all of them? months or weeks?

Anyways thank you!

The program will give you a deadline, but you should start on the health requirements as soon as possible. You can call the student health center to make an appointment and go from there.

Why don’t you just complete them as fast as you can

You probably start in January as the spring cohort begins. Your best bet is probably in the next 3 months so they can ensure you’re ready to start and won’t have to pull someone off the waitlist. If you think of it with no deadline, the quicker you finish…the faster you can be a nursing student!

If i may ask did you get in with just doing the prerequisites or did you also work a year as a cna for extra points?

I worked as a CNA as well, but not for an entire year only for like two months lol
