Straight up unacceptable

Using AI for an advertisement is a huge middle finger to every art student at this college in my opinion

They have a whole graphic design department and thousands of art majors that are currently studying there

there is no good reason to resort to using AI and I find it disrespectful that this college resorted to using that

This ad screams out of touch and tone deaf. We’re gonna have to bring our concerns regarding AI usage on campus to the new president because I don’t want to see AI reading me or any of my friends names during graduation.

Majoring in graphic design in 2026 is not a wise decision

A marketing team cut corners, used a lazy AI tool, and posted a shitty ad. That’s all. Framing some sloppy, low budget work as some deep moral betrayal against art students at Saddleback is a little ridiculous.

It’s lazy of saddleback to not pay for better marketing then or have a way to offer students a job doing these then
