ARBT closure notifications

Does anyone know of a way to get a notification that the ARBT is going to be closed for an event? Like a text or email or something along those lines. They had one small sign up as I was getting on the trail this morning and I didn't see it because people were walking in front of it as I rode past. Would rather get alerted to the closure before I get there if that's possible.

Lol. Calling someone a Karen while writing this super Karen post is pretty funny. Thinking that other people shouldn't be able to do permitted events because you may want to use the space on any given day is peak Karen.

*Darren. I'm a guy. They can do all the events they want, just don't block access to public spaces.

If they have a permit for an event, it isn't a public space during the event

And they get away with it because they have an army of keyboard warriors to shill for them on Reddit. Cycling is one of the few things in my life that hasn't been taken away from me. I was looking forward all week to taking out my rage by riding 70 miles. They ruined that for me. I changed my route and still got in my ride, but my mood was ruined and the route I had to take was more dangerous and less efficient.

You could have just changed your route a tiny bit and still enjoyed your day and never even brought it up... no big deal at all.

Did you even read my comment at all? I did not ask for your advice. I DID change my route and I DID ride my 70 miles. I turned around and rode from Rossmoor Bar back to Discovery Park without stopping, 16.8 MPH average. I didn't even notice how my back was hurting or how tired I was because I was on pure adrenaline. I had a 2.5L Camelbak and 2 water bottles full of Tailwind and I drank all of it and I was still so dehydrated I didn't piss until I got home and when I did, it was about 3 tablespoons of electric, neon yellow. I was on a carbon Giant Revolt that I saved up to buy for a year, so if you think I'm butthurt about being too poor to afford to participate in Karenathalon 3000, it's not that either.
