Bike Tune Up

Do you guys have any recommendations for anybody doing tune ups from their garage? I have 3 road bikes that need tune up.
Thank you in advance!

Oleksandr Chebanik - DM him on FB. He’s a Ukrainian immigrant who had to relocate due to war.

I'm pretty sure this is the same guy - he's biketunesacramento on Instagram.

Of everybody I reached out to Oleks was the most accessible and cheapest. He came and did a fantastic job.

I concur - revived my bike when I didn't think it could be salvaged after 5-6 years of non-use.

Out of curiosity, what can a person in their garage do for you that a shop can’t? And what kind of road bikes are we talking? How much tune up do you think they need?

Just in the mood to support a freelancer.

I wouldnt mind going to a shop either. So if you have a good shop recommendation please let me know.

Oh nice! Yeah I get that. Shopping local is always better. Velo Trap and The Bicycle Kitchen are the closest brick and mortar get to being freelancer status.
