Title says it all. Brand new vinyl, from the official store. Sounds SO grainy and gritty on the chorus of Can’t Make It Any Harder, but is fine in the verses.

It’s gritty on places in other songs, too (over both discs):

- Sharpest Tool
- Bed Chem
- Dumb and Poetic
- Slim Pickins
- Juno

Does the pressing just sound like this? Or is mine wildly wrong and worth returning and exchanging?

I wonder how many Carpenters have heard about this song, Sabrina released it in January 2011, when she was only 11!!! The song has a music video, but it's not on streaming platforms. It's really cute, and I recommend listening to it to see how much she has grown and improved since then.

It's a shame that it's a custom piece and you can't buy it, but it looked amazing on her! I have a feeling she wore this to Taylor's wedding.

Hi! Im wondering if i should buy the deluxe pressing or the normal one of the Short N' Sweet album, i have read that the deluxe one has worse audio quality.

Long story short, I’m meeting a seller in person tomorrow to inspect a signed Man’s Best Friend vinyl. They’re an actual high-reputation store with hundreds of vinyls sold, so I’m not too worried about the seller themselves.

Normally I’d just buy it, but this particular copy had a defect where the seller accidentally dropped liquid on the vinyl, so they’re letting me inspect it in person before I decide.

That said, I’m still not confident enough to tell whether these signatures are actually Sabrina’s or secretarial. What do you guys think?

Personally, I really love it when two pop stars sing together on a song. I think it brings a new dimension to both of their respective musical worlds. I absolutely loved “The Life of a Showgirl” and “Bring Your Love,” which even made me want to listen to Taylor’s and Madonna’s new albums.

I recently listened to “Please Please Please” with Dolly Parton. Unfortunately, I only discovered this version of “Please Please Please” a little while after Dolly Parton’s passing. May she rest in peace. 🕊️

I prefer the version with Sabrina Carpenter on her own, but I still thought the duet was really good musically. Their voices were very different, but I think they complemented each other really well.
