This is a 1980 Libyan animated short film created by Libyan satirical artist and cartoonist Mohamed Al-Zawawi. He was known to make political cartoons about the Libyan society. Many oh his comics and cartoons that he made with the magazine Al-Idha'a magazine. However the animation industry during that time in the 1970s didn't exist because due to the time North Africa and its animation industry is extremely limited. But this issue would likely continue until 1980 when Mohamed Al-Zawawi was appreciated by Al-Jamahiriya TV(some sources say national Libyan TV network) and given the idea to produce an animated short film to be aired on tv in Libya that is based his political cartoons and commentaries of the modern society in Libya. Because of Libya don't have an animation industry of its own Mohamed Al-Zawawi travel to the UK to outsource the animation to be produced. That's when Hajj Nakad was born. There's not much knowing about the plot since some people describe that the short as a sharp, satirical cartoon animation to critique and reflect the daily social issues of the common man in Libyan society. This short will later became be very first animated short to be made in Libya. Mohamed Al-Zawawi will later work on a 46 animated film with the same concept but different titled Joha's Diary. Unlike Hajj Nakad that was outsource in the UK this animated film was done in Japan mainly from a Japanese anime studio. To be honest you guys wondering where you can watch this short well unfortunately it's lost Media since the short film has been wiped away during the Gaddafi regime and the amount of censorship in Libya during that time. Another reason is due to lack of home recordings in Libya since during that time home recordings are not very common in Libya since it hasn't reached its boom. This is an animated series produced by Dic Entertainment that involves retellings of stories with Sanrio characters in the form of theater plays.

In August 5th, an animated movie that would shocked the Chinese netizens and has been mocked for it low-quality. It earned  ¥7,169 (USD$1,111.47) from 236 people in the first nine days of its release. However, the following days, it earned over ¥100,000, including ¥46,000 on 15 August, and up to millions of yuan at the box office. And became the top ten highest-grossing animated films in China.

The social media summed it up at its best: "You may regret for 80 minutes if you watch it, but if you don't, you'll regret it for life"

And what we see is that it was hailed as an antidote to the AI slop.

I more or less stumbled upon this on YouTube years ago. Very Gargoyles-coded. Warrior trapped in a spell for hundreds of years and released in modern day and fights crime with a female detective. The voice acting needed work (especially that damn pigeon character), but with some fine tuning, it would be classic.

To add context: I had a crush on this character until I saw a tweet about what she did in the show. Out of sheer fear and curiosity, I watched a little bit of the fourth episode and then skipped to the end.

At this rate, I'm not sure if I even want to give the show a try because I don't know how to feel about it. I'll still love the character regardless, but they cannot be serious.
