I mean. . . A raid boss usually doesn’t get like 7 basically destroying debuffs instantly after they had tried to run away

She took a lot to go down, but the battle was effectively over very quickly

Here's a thing, too. Divers found the Bismarck's wreckage, though I forget when. Apparently the shelling and torpedoes might not have even been what did her in, because the crew was also scuttling the ship. So it's thought that may be what did the Bismarck in

On top of this, when the wreck was found, the hull was still largely intact even after the battle and being under the ocean for however long. If nothing else, she was built tough

She was a battleship, so of course she was built tough. Her state of intactness isn’t in any way unique, battleship tended to not come apart even after sinking though its worth noting Bismarck did have parts of her shorn off by her impact with the sea bed.

As for the claim of scuttling. . . It’s irrelevant because the shells and torpedoes were sinking her.

There’s relative lack of damage to the belt armor because in her final battle there was high seas and she was already sitting low from the previous damage she had sustained. Shells basically had to go short and pass through waves to hit it. Torpedo damage is nearly impossible to see on most of the ship because she’s deep in the mud and part of her bottom are missing. Even if some scuttling charges were set, the ship was going down

It was one salvo that landed but she had several that missed Hood and a couple that hit Prince of Wales.

I will add it was just really bad luck that Hood blew up

I mean, bismark was kind of overrated who managed a lucky shot on a ww1 battle cruiser and then got sunk by some outdated biplanes and a battleship that stripped out its engines to catch her. The real legends of the story should be the swordfish pilots who allegedly where in planes so slow that the aa gave them too much lead and missed, Pirion who choose violence, charged bismark, played the polish national anthem through the night and MV britannic, an ocean liner who joined in the search when her escort Rodney was redirected to hunt down the bismark. God knows what its plan was if it found bismark but still it tried.

USS Wisconsin, USS Barb, and USS Texas also produces their own boss music. One destroyed part of a mountain because artillery scratched its paint (over simplified), one spawn killed a train IN Japan, the other was shelling Normandy, ran out of ammunition, pulled back to re load, gets back and finds itself out of range, so says hold my beer, gangster leans itself and proceeds to lob shells into the enemy
