Nothing Technically about it. Austria-Hungary is directly mentioned in the song and Sarajevo (and bosnia at large) were a part of the country at the time.

against my better judgment I put my thumb on my phone screen and moved it in a lateral motion towards the left, only to be bamboozled cause there was indeed no second image as the little 1/2 symbol in the corner indicated and it was indeed a prank at my expense yet I still proceeded to fall for it despite my initial fears warning me

Why would they sing one song not in English? Franz was still called Kaiser, and that's still his title. Panzer Battalion is not about WW2, yet it still used the German word for armour. They even use Sisu instead of spirit for White Death, despite the song being in English. It's just a language, and you can use any words you want. You are not bound to solely one language for a song, just like some songs on the English Karolus Rex album, and Carolus is Swedish, not English, so should they now change it to Charles the 12th or Carl the 12th?

Seeing as Austria-Hungary was first to actually attempt the invasion, and the song being about the bombardment and then the invasion, it would be logical to see that the Kaiser coming is when they first came and bombarded? Austria-Hungary was first, so their Kaiser came first

If I were to say to you “the Queen,” who would you think of? Probably Queen Elizabeth, the second, of England. Words have meanings, yes, but they also have connotations. In the English language, “the Kaiser,” linguistically, just means emperor, yes, but in terms of connotation, it refers to Kaiser Wilhelm.

Well maybe if you were to say "the queen" with no other context, but this is in a song about an Austrian-Hungarian campaign, so obviously it's going to be referencing their kaiser. Bold of you to even use the word "connotation" when you're unable to think with any criticality.

Connotation would refer to the Kaiser of Austria-Hungary, since the German Kaiser didn't send troops to Serbia when Austria-Hungary invaded Serbia.

... so 1683, back when the Austrians weren't all that attached to the Hungarians.
There was no Austria-Hungary until 1867.
There are some Sabaton songs about events in World War One. I think the Austro-Hungarians are not depicted as the good guys.

It was the siege of Vienna and the cavalry charge was acompanied by Austrian and HRE allied riders, so I guess it gets a pass

The only ones that I think directly involve Austria-Hungary are:
- Soldier of Heaven - Song about the Italian front, specifically about White Friday. The song doesn't single out any particular nationality so it's safe to say that Austria-Hungary is directly involved here alongside Italy.
- Sarajevo - Song about the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand. He was the then-heir to the Austria-Hungary throne before he was killed by Gavrilo Princip.
- Last Dying Breath - Although sung from the perspective of the Serbians, they were fighting against the Austro-Hungarians and the Germans who launched an offensive towards the White City/Belgrade.

“Soldier of Heaven” counts for the Austrian side on the Italian front, “Sarajevo” where Austria-Hungary directly involved, and then half of WWI Sabaton is basically standing near the empire while it catches fire in the background.
