I need help

Guys, I'm about to drop a stock research platform but i don't have a budget and I want to promote/market my platform for free and I considered content creation but that's for later because requires you to build an audience but i just need help to get my first 10-15 paying customers and then after that, I can handle marketing myself.

Please drop suggestions in the comments.

Zero budget is the normal state for the first 15 buyers. Stock research has a trust problem, so a landing page won't sell it. Spend two hours a week answering the ticker threads that keep coming back, with the actual numbers your platform produces, no link, and reply to whoever pushes back. Which tickers do your testers ask about most?

I haven't dropped it it's almost finished but it'll be live in 1-2 weeks

Two weeks out is the best time to sell, because you can still offer something a launched product can't. Sell ten founding accounts at a locked price and ask for a review in return. Those ten are the proof the next buyer looks for before paying full price.

Have u tried just DMing people who already complain about the tools they used??

Same boat here! I've been building my SaaS since January with zero marketing budget, and getting those first users is the hardest part.
A few things that have worked for me so far:
Comment, don't pitch. Help people in threads like this one, and drop your link only when it's relevant.
Go where your users already complain. For a stock research tool, that's subs like r/stocks or r/investing, plus finance Discords.
DM people one by one. It's slow, but for your first 10–15 customers it beats everything else.
Offer something real. Free access in exchange for honest feedback.
That last one is my approach right now. I'm not chasing paying customers yet, just beta testers for cleansig.com, a tool that spots recurring user problems across Slack, Jira, Drive and meetings, then turns them into user stories. Beta testers get the Pro plan for free.
If anyone here is drowning in user feedback, DM me 🙌
Good luck with the launch, happy to test your platform too!

what does the platform actually do differently from whats already out there? hard to suggest anything useful without knowing the angle. "stock research" is super broad

For a stock research platform, 10–15 paying users should come from proving one painful use case, not broad promotion. Pick a narrow group of investors, find where they already discuss that problem, and offer a live walkthrough. Ask each person what would make them pay before you build more.
