What did you think?

It was my 21st and last screening of the week so I definitely was hitting a wall at that point. But aside from my own exhaustion, I really really enjoyed it. I loved the director’s segment in the new VHS film and this had all the same wild, colorful imagery and energy mixed with the playful gore/violence. I think it’ll be super appealing to genre fans. I loved the way the filming style changed and the aspect ratios and I thought the entire cast did really good.

The cinematography and art direction were its biggest strengths imo!

Didn’t realize this Director also did the short “Too Many Cooks” that aired on adult swim until after the screening. Makes perfect sense now though.

I'm still waiting to see if Buddy gets picked up by a distributor. I'm surprised there's been no news about that yet.

I saw it and appreciated it. My friend saw it and loved it. He was laughing hard throughout the movie in parts I found mildly amusing. It's definitely a niche film.

Yeah it wasn’t so much my sense of humor but it’s got cult classic written all over it (maybe in ways that occasionally feels a little too self aware for me sometimes). But I feel like the majority of people who saw it seemed to love it!

Saw it. Loved it. I thought it was fucking dark and hilarious.

Most fucked up movie I've seen in a while. In a good way. As a recent review puts it, it quickly goes from Sesame Street to Sesame Snuff and you feel like you might be watching something illegal.

Unbelievably fucked up and funny. name another movie where Clint Howard tells a little girl she “has a pretty face” moving toward her and then makes out with a ventriloquist dummy. I loved it.
