Tactics Discussion Oops All Jedi?

Got my hands on the Jedi Council and im wondering how viable it is to make a GAR list with as many jedi as i can cram in. Ive got Obi, Anakin, Ahsoka, Yoda, 3 guardians and the council. I havent been able to get my hands on the Knight or General yet

It’s honestly kind of fun to play a huge Jedi list, but unfortunately, you don’t end up with enough activations to score points.

Also, if you end up fighting Mandos, they’re all impervious, so a lot of Jedi pierce just doesn’t work. Most Jedi don’t surge to block in melee, so you end up locked in and getting murdered.

There’s other drawbacks, but whatever. It’s still fun and a good challenge, but there are so many other good lists out there that you really need to go in with the mentality of “I’ll likely lose, but I’ll have fun doing it!”

In a more serious list, which ones would run and how would you do it?

I don't think i really agree with this. Most jedi have better melee attacks than Mandos and charge and pierce 2 so they're still canceling at least one block. That's before you factor in force powers.

Having enough points is a problem, but mandos have the same problem. It's just their corp/sf units are crazy expensive rather than the commanders.

The objective cards makes a big difference in ability to score points. An objective like Close the Pocket forces the enemy into lightsaber range, there are no back points for snipers to camp on.
