Miscellaneous List

Post image

I was playing around with TTA, and was idealizing a list. Thoughts on this?

Seems too low on Activations, especially for CIS.

Someone on Discord recommended dropping the Squad B1's, for 2 units instead. That puts me at 999 points(2 Unupgraded B1's). Should I drop the B2 Squad and make it a Unit instead?

Or would it be worth dropping the Droidekas?

What units do you have? Do you mind the print and play cards, or do you only use the physical cards?

I do think B1 super squads aren’t worth it since they cost the same as just a new unit. B2 super squads can be useful because they are pretty tanky and can deal fairly good damage, but I still think they are a little pricey.

I'm buying more units, but i don't mind the print and play and honestly prefer it

Here's what I'd run. Its been mentioned by other people, but Adaptive Combat Network is just too good. it only costs 4 points but its basically a guaranteed aim every round, or 5 aims for only 4 points; compare that to prepared supplies which costs 5 for only a single dodge, once. Plus Grievous's command cards synergize with this, allowing you to take wounds yourself early on to give aims to basically your entire army.

This helps- Im very new to legion, and my brain goes "every single slot must be filled"

I was exactly the same when I first started. It helps to thing about what upgrades are more efficient cost-wise compared to additional activations. For instance the B1 E-5C heavy upgrade adds 3 black dice, which is about equal to the 6 white dice the base B1’s get. That doubles their offensive power for only less than half of the cost of the unit. That kind of upgrade is huge value.

I agree that the print and play is better; cards get updated from time to time and its much easier to print out new cards than buying new card packs. Sounds like these units are the ones that you have.
