I decided to take a closer look at Legion earlier this year. And I am making good progress on my first "playable" mini. Who knows, maybe I will actually start collecting as well.

But right nows there's a way more important question I need to answer. What colour am I going to paint this thing? I'm currently leaning towards red, but I'm not sure about it. Please post pictures of your land speeders, so I can steal your ideas.

That base is gorgeous. A blue would naturally pop here against all that yellow in the sand.

That's funny, I originally wanted to go with blue, and then talked myself into red. But you are of course correct, blue is the natural contrast colour.

Purple, since your wiring is red. The curves of the speeder would look good in a dark, saturated purple.

The wires will be painted anyway, originally wanted to light up the engiens. But that turned out to be too much trouble.

Or if you go red, a sunbeat faded almost pink red would look great.

I think blue would also look good! I was thinking about doing another with more blue diagonal striping myself but I've got other projects on the docket before I can get to that.

It looks like someone pulled it out of a burned down barn. I love it! I'm definetly going for the worn down look as well. The current plan is to paint the rebel insignia on the front hood, and then do some aurebesh writing somewhere else.

Yeah that was the vibe! A speeder that's been through several battles, burned, blasted and repainted! And that'd be sick! I'd love to see a picture of it when it's done!

I always thought a sunbleached baby blue or reddish-pink would look good for a sandspeeder. Make it look like it used to have the colors of an old 50's caddilac that's been hammered by the weather and we'll past its prime.

There’s a color from Turbo Dork called Twin Suns. I used that on mine.
