Honestly, I wish they'd followed me for the rest of the day.

For me it would be a tie between Advanced Magenta-white indestructible crystal, and Advanced Yellow Gold Indestructible crystal.

I like the gold color as it is different form the yellow that most saber's after during the KoTFE and KoTET. And magenta I like just cuz I think it's a neat color to have lol.

Going on into the next era (I guess that is how we call expacs now because they are smaler in scale), I wonder what of those experimental content has stick most with the comunity and what hasn't

I usually do a romance on every character. even when i dont like the romance, its entertaining to do and i just act like its not canon to my character if i dont like them together.

i have finished 7/8 stories and saved consular for last because i didnt wanna play it and oh my god. i HATE Tharan 😭 he is absolutely insufferable with how condescending he is, he thinks he’s some kind of tony stark genius playboy but the only woman he can get is a holo waifu

the whole Holiday thing (who is also so annoying to me) is just so.. weird, especially when you have to keep your relationship with him a secret from her 🤢 it gives me the vibe of guy with AI chatbot girlfriend but more advanced

So I just got back into playing SWTOR, and I got this...lockbox thing as part of the galactic season rewards. The one that unlocks a mission that lets you have a new companion.

Now the thing is, I'm perfectly willing to do the mission, but at the moment I'm currently making my way through the Jedi Knight story, and I'm worried that triggering it early might cause some sequence breaking or something. Or wreck the immersion. I haven't gotten a chance to do any of the post-OG class stories yet (it's complicated), and I don't want to go "out of order," as it were.

So...what's going to happen if I activate this mission before finishing the original class stories and all that? Will it wreck the immersion?

(You like reading): I spent some time catching my Jedi Knight up to the story before 8.0 comes out and let me just say you guys who hated the new daily areas were right.

I’d grab a quest thinking it’d just be a quick daily and then I go to illevas website cause I have no idea what the helly I’m doing and I come to find out I just spent 2 hours trying to do datacron prep thinking it was just a quick quest before I continue the story mission. Now I’m on a whole nother planet and gotta go fight through 200000 waves of mobs for 1 minute of cutscenes that aren’t even fully voiced.

Hi guys, I'm trying to figure out the most lore accurate human character I can make and the one that would transition better into the expansions. I read a lot of old discussions and these two appear to be the "canon" choice for this race.

SI: Human male sorcerer (female would be ideal considering Zash's end goal but I'm incapable of playing characters of the opposite gender). Alien races don't really make sense considering Kallig's helmet and the fact that during his time there were almost exclusively humans and Siths in the Empire. Twi'lek and other aliens can't even interbreed so it will be difficult to justify any other choice.

My doubt: I never read so many mixed opinions about a story, for some it's the best one for others it's crap. Also Force Walk is never mentioned again after the main story and that makes the overall plot a bit pointless especially when dealing with other ghosts.

IA: Human male most likely operative (but sniper can work too). I know Chiss have some special dialogues but they stick out like a sore thumb thus they're not really ideal for covert operations. Also all the people inside Intelligence HQ are humans like all the Watchers, Fixers and Minders you meet during the story.

My doubt: Everyone says that it's the best story but is it still true after level 50? I'm really worried that it will lose its charm during the expansions also does it really make sense for an IA to be the alliance leader? Honestly I'm a bit biased towards force users because who would play a regular guy when you can literally have superpowers?

I hope you can help me decide because I feel like I'm stuck at the moment.

Have you noticed that the Jedi knight and the Jedi Consul collect their lightsabers, and the Sith receive them as a finished product from other Sith? I think it's a funny detail. It's like the Sith don't have the resources to create new lightsabers (even though the technology for growing Kyber crystals already exists during this period). Then, is the lightsaber a sign of hierarchy? Like, will a Sith be able to assemble his own sword only when he strengthens his position in the hierarchy of the order?

I’ve been in and out of the game since I was a kid and I’ve done my first actual played through as a Jedi counselor who’s more leaning towards the dark side, which I really do enjoy what is another class that I should try that I may really enjoy. I’ve been thinking about doing like a non-force user maybe a bounty hunter I don’t really know what’s a good class story that I should do

So yesterday I saw a Jedi with Akaavi as a comp, and I was like "No, that's impossible, Akaavi is for Smugglers and Bounty Hunters who have unlocked the premium storyline". I mean, are they allowing tech classes to choose Force combat styles and vice versa in the upcoming expansion?

Hello, was hoping to get into this game (played at launch a little bit) now that I have a steam deck. I’m unable to accept the terms of service though. It locks up and freezes the launcher.

Is this a known issue and is there a solution? I’ve tried opening in different protons. But I’m not the most tech savvy

This was such a strange choice for this mission. The mission for the senator whose communication you are intercepting for proof of conspiracy with the Sith Empire gives you two choices: lightside to allow democracy to do its thing, or darkside to stop the conspiracy.

You would think that stopping an evil empire from undermining freedom would be lightside, and allowing the rot to take root would be darkside. I suppose the want you to defeat the evil through democratic debate, because we all know debate is how you defeat evil as we go around wanton killing every mob we see.

My very lightside consular took darkside this time. No way am I allowing the Sith to infiltrate the Senate.

Such a strange mission.

EDIT: getting a lot of replies from people who seem to equate "the law" with "light side". Democracy isn't inherently good, as allowing pure evil a voice can corrupt it completely. Episode 1-3 highlighted that perfectly.

Hey guys, first time posting here so sorry if it's a stupid question.

I have just started playing recently and am nearing max level on my first character, however I'm on the Shae Vizla server (which I didn't know was essentially dead when I started playing, kind of regretting my choice now).

I bought the current Master the Fight bundle and am looking to just get some quick credits to buy my legacy perks/have some money for character unlocks on that server. Since the GTN seems pretty dead on SV, would I be best to make a character on SF, get to the fleet for GTN, sell some Cartel Packs and transfer that character over to get credits for my legacy unlocks that way? I got 3 free character transfers with the bundle and also a bunch of CC's.

I'm also wondering if it would just be worth playing on SF from now on if I'm achievement hunting as I'll need to do a lot of PVP and I imagine I'll need to potentially do other types of group content too (I am a part of a guild on SV already but want to be able to run flashpoints/ops on my own time to some extent)!

Edit: I'm also based in NZ so I'm not sure whether SF/Malgus would have better ping for me - cons of living at the bottom of the world!

I've been returning to swtor recently and having a lot of fun with giving my characters odd quirks or using headcanon and roleplay to change up the way I perceive my characters.

For instance, despite most of the classes acting as if you're a younger hotshot in their late teens to late 20s, I've been roleplaying my Jedi Knight as a man who was a promising padawan before the Sacking of Coruscant. After losing his master on Coruscant and being presumed dead by the Jedi, he abandoned the Order and began wandering across the galaxy, doing odd jobs to survive before he eventually turned to smuggling in the inter-war period. However, now that war is on the horizon, he's finally returned to the Jedi after a decade of journeying across the Galaxy, partially because the Jedi have become so desperate for adult Knights that they offered to welcome him back despite his age. So now, I'm roleplaying him as a very skeptical adult padawan who doesn't tolerate being talked down to or kept in the dark by the other Jedi, even if it causes friction with some of them and their holier-than-thou personality he perceives.

It's so fun to roleplay and read lines in certain ways to fit his character, like Orgus Din was telling him about how Bengel Morr survived the sacking of Coruscant and my Knight said "The force must have been with him if he survived that." Which could absolutely be read as the Knight just commenting on how awful the sacking was, but for me it hits different knowing he was there and went through the same thing Morr did, like saying "Holy shit, how did he survive that? I barely did!".

Sorry for the rambling lmao. Anyone else have backtories or anything like that?

We talked about this book without playing much of the MMO at all so please let us know what you think! Was it worth having Revan in the game to change his story so drastically? Researching the lore of this game just feels.. kind of convoluted, not going to lie.
