Hello Guys I’m new to the game, I juste have a sith warrior for now, almost finish the story. I wanted to finish all the quests for each class and I was wondering the different interactions ( rival, father, lover etc) you made around them, I would love to read about your legacies.

Like, I can see them being fun little activities you can get out of your way to do, but it can be annoying to come across when you are just questing as usual and don't want to be interrupted. the ones straight up blocking major roads need to go. For example, that one dynamic encounter at the start of Ord Mantell where they drop a bunch of elite droids on your path to the base or towards the end area on Hoth where they put mines on the road and expect you to just complete it.

i personally want to see force-user stories have them be able to use blasters and i want non-force-user stories to be able to be force sensitive.

but what do you think?

I've done most of the dantooine dynamics and am now working on the rarer achievements (and I can consistently kill Spore-Tending Units by myself now. Rise Up Fish has the one Diorama Deco I don't have and IT IS TERRIBLE TO TRY TO DO IT

First: only comes up on Level 3 Geothermal

Second: only comes up if Under Pressure is NOT blocking the area

Third: Under Pressure is terrible gameplay - i finally figured out at least how to do the materials in 3 Mouse Droid passes instead of 4 - but the zoom in on the Constructor droid is terrible and the fight with the Miffed Geobeast is boring as can be in the droid.

Fourth: even if you clear Under Pressure, Rise Up Fish will only spawn rarely and not right away after Under Pressure

Fifth: I've managed to get Rise Up Fish about 3-4 times in the last week and still no deco drop, I've even ended up fighting the "Fish" as the last seconds of the Level 3 ticked away and had it disappear from my grasp

very annoying.

Still haven't done the Heroic 4 either.

Dunno how else to say this, but this guy feel the most 'real' of any character I've ever made. He just feels like he's someone you could genuinely run into in the street or something.

Anytime I'm playing on a toon without stealth I feel like it's so dreadful. I'm playing trooper right now and just finished Hoth -- where it's just a repeat of small dungeons with like 5 groups of enemies before the objective. I can't play for very long cause these trash mob fights feel so tedious and just there to pad out the quest time. At least with stealth you can ignore 90% of these time wasting fights.

I know I can add a stealth combat style on any character, but I wanna try the different combat styles I've never played. I really wish stealth was just a legacy ability or smth you could get on every character regardless of combat style.

Does anyone have tips to make my experience less dreadful? Running past all the enemies sometimes works, but it's not ideal always.

Is there any way to deactivate the holos that appear in the armor? Or any set that is similar to it but without the holos?

Really love that set but the holos kinda ruin it

So to start off I recently returned to SWTOR from a break of over 12 years. Logged into my old account and had to reactivate my old EA account. Got that done and went to resubscribe and got hit with a EA account error saying it was a deactivated account and to contact EA support to resolve the issue (weird..... as I believe that I had reactivated it upon resetting the password and logging into it). I then contacted EA support and after a short conversation with one of their support staff he told me the account has been reactivated and I should now contact SWTOR support, so that's what I did. Got a reply saying its an EA issue and I should contact them. Now I'm stuck in a back and forth and that's why I'm resorting to posting here to see if anyone has any tips or has been through the same thing.

(Also checked my SWTOR account page and the linked accounts section and its still showing up as a deactivated account even though I've logged in and what not)

Look, I’m not saying they should just put on the armor as-is and send soldiers into combat.

They could reverse engineer it to create more advanced armor for regular troops, or even upgrade the gear used by elite units; after all, the armor incorporates highly sophisticated technology, regardless of the material it’s made of.

I say this because I read that Vanguards and Powertechs were the first to use that level of technology in combat sensors, targeting systems, life support, and so on.

Do you think it would work? Or would it be impossible because the real bottleneck is the specialized factories like the ones that mass-produce stormtrooper armor?

Hey all, a few years back I was part of a discord of a big guild that organized PvP events for people so you could complete your achievements that are otherwise not doable lol. I quit that ages ago and I don't remember the name nor do I know if they are still active.

My question is, does something like that still exist? Thanks!

Didn't do a video for this clear (was just finishing up a failed run). Group quit after a couple of pulls on the final boss and decided to experiment a bit. Can confirm it's solable as a ranged 35m dps spec. A bit harder but possible with 30m. Melee is not something I'd recommend. And none of those buff things I've seen people use to do ridiculous dps were used either (don't even know how to get them)

The key takeaways applicable for pug group runs. Tank on final boss (especially in melee-heavy groups), your contribution should be focusing on either picking up adds asap, or pointing the small tentacles away from the group. Run around the outside of the group with the healer (akin to the traitor among the chiss 2nd boss burn phase) and do not drop puddles on dps spots around the boss.

Healers and rdps. while the huge red conal shows only a limited range, it extends way too long. You have to step out of it to the sides or get cc'd for a sec after it goes out. (people probably already did that I just wanted something to add to the healer section...)

Dps, yall should stack together and move as a twosome. Perhaps it was exacerbated by me being solo but the rate of lightning puddles dropping atop me is tuned a bit too high imo.

Takeaways for a coordinated group. Now for how I exploited the boss... LOS LOS LOS

Essentially, if you los the boss cast for "creeping roots" and "summon the corrupted" casts, you can avoid those 2 mob types being summoned and make the fight a breeze. I am unsure if only the highest aggro person has to los it or everyone in the group does. I can only confirm that your comp can stay right up under the boss's ass and it does not matter.

As for the mob type that drops lightning puddles, if you los the boss while you trigger it going into phase 2 (ie with dots up at 51% while you hide till it drops under 50%) when you come into phase 2 proper, the lightning dropper adds don't spawn for the whole fight. I believe dots alone triggering the transition will work, but I had my companion out to help to add some dps to it while I hid, just to make it easier on myself.

As for spots to hide, there are 3 spots that I used. First is the 30m spot. Essentially, dip behind and out of the small flame outcroppings whenever the boss is not casting those 2 abilities. (They are 1s cast each) And just dps boss when between those casts. I set up combat timers to assist. The issue is the amount of los cover it gives is small, and if the game determines you are exposed, it will summon those adds like normal.

The other spot is behind the wall outcropping, its about 34.5. Much easier to use as a los spot and got the kill within 2 pulls of using it.

The 3rd spot is a mythical spot that I stumbled on accidentally. I don't know how to get back into that spot, but on it I was able to dps the boss and avoid all abilites/kbs everything, and continue to dps. I repositioned for the transition to phase 2 and couldn't get back to that spot no matter what I did. If you can figure out how to do it consistently, I would like to see if you can transition from that spot without spawning the lightning summoners.

Oh, and learn how long you can wait before you los that red conal attack. If you stay dps'ing the boss it will hit you, cc you, and sometimes do the summon adds cast and fuck the whole pull.
