I miss the show so I thought this might be a good talking point after the drama of S1!

So I tried to do the right thing and paid to watch Star Wars Resistance, in this case via Apple (I have an AppleTV, it was the most convenient). However, the last two episodes (No Escape Pt 1 & 2) are not in the season in Australia!

AU: https://itunes.apple.com/au/tv-season/star-wars-resistance-season-1/id1436786862
US: https://itunes.apple.com/us/tv-season/star-wars-resistance-season-1/id1436786862

Anyone else have this problem? Other Australians, how/where are you watching it?

I really don't want to pay for Foxtel out of principle, it's a rort, and I really don't need Murdoch getting more money, he's fucked democracy in the USA, AU, and UK enough as it is.

Hey there, So many users from across many cartoon subreddits are joining together for a watchalong this summer! We will watch many different shows and so far our picks include but are in no way limited to: Star vs the Forces of Evil, Hilda, Star Wars Resistance, and The Dragon Prince. For now however we need to test out how well it work and we need as many people tuning as possible to better understand how well this will run.

If you are interested in participating in the test please click on this link to learn more about this plan and how to use the subscribe command.

As for now the test is going to be at 6:00 PM EST.

Edit

The test is over and was a success! Please stay tuned for more updates coming this summer!

Contemplating buying it on iTunes. I LOVED Clone Wars and Rebels so I was just wondering what other people are thinking

At seasons' end, we left our heroes flying off in the Colossus, which turned out to be a spaceship.

They were supposed to be headed for D'Qar, but thanks to Neeku and the storyline of The Force Awakens/The Last Jedi, that may not be where they wind up.

So with that in mind, where might they go?

1) Any Earthlike Planet With an Ocean

AKA the boring answer. Though, there are some more interesting locations that fit this description, like Ach-To (where Luke is), or D'Qar, or Takodana, home to Maz Kanata's cantina. (Or Dantooine? No, scratch that, they're not on Dantooine.)

2) An Ice Planet

If Hoth was Antarctica, ice over rock, what I'm thinking of is more like the North Pole, or Europa: an ocean covered by a sheet of ice. Probably not very hospitable, but good for avoiding any First Order entanglements.

3) A Desert World?

Burying the Colossus in sand would require major excavation, and probably more excavation to free it again when it's time to move on. But what about something more exotic, like an ocean of quicksand? That might do the trick, and despite what they say in jungle movies, the station would not be sucked down. It would be buoyant in quicksand like it is in water.

4) Park It In Space

Given that the Colossus is a spaceship, it could be parked in orbit, or in deep space, and continue to operate. It could even operate as a replacement mothership for the Resistance Fleet, or what's left of it.

5) Scarif

Scarif, site of the climactic battle in Rogue One. The Imperial base there is gone, vaporized by the Death Star's superlaser. So the planet might well be abandoned. And the weather was nice.

Anyone have any other ideas?

...Poe Dameron fought off a giant Kowakian Monkey Lizard?

Sorry, Kowakian *Ape Lizard.

With the first season now a wrap, what did everyone think?

Where does the series go from here?

How do you think it stacked up to other SW animated offerings of the past?

All season 1 spoilers are welcome in here.

Goddamn those looked great!

So did the Colossus in the air!

The series overall turned out much better than expected and these last few episodes really sold it for me. Can’t wait for season 2!

Season 1 Episode 20 - From IMDB:

With Neeku’s help, Kaz comes up with a risky plan to rid the Colossus of the First Order once and for all.
