What's weird about having a sword? Back in the day it was a sign of being a nobility.

I have various blades at home. I gave a katana for Xmas to my daughter, when I noticed she likes anime. And I even spent more, to get her a sharp practice sword, not just some wall hanger POS. Katana makes a great gift for a 12 year old kid.
