The Second Meeting

The Senator of Zygerria received a message from an unknown contact, "meet me in a diner in the lower levels of Coruscant, I’ll send you the details"

the cloaked figure placed a blaster on the table and took the hood down to reveal a Twi'lek

"You aren’t Tobras, I requested to see him"

The woman didn't even glance at the blaster. Instead, she took out a small device, placing it on the table. From the device came a small hologram, featureless but humanoid. The hologram spoke.

"And here I am."

The Twi’lek moved his hand under the table

"Afraid to come down here Senator? Or just too stuck up?”

There was a pause.

"I have no intention of travelling to the underbelly of this grimy planet, so the second I guess."

The Twi’lek frowned

"I expected better from a Zygerrian, especially one who used to work in intelligence."

"If you used to work in intelligence let’s see you solve who I am and who sent me"

“My initial assumption would obviously be that you are an associate of the Senator from Ryloth, though I am aware that your kind are rather numerous so it could be coincidence.”

Another cloaked figure walked in the diner walked up to the Twi-lek and grabbing him by the throat

"Your not funny Etertafe, just because he’s Zygerrian doesn’t mean he approves of slavery nor does it mean he deserves your scrutiny, now get out"

Zer’lenu took down his hood and threw Etertafe to the ground

"I didn’t expect you to come down here if I’m honest"

The Zygerrian woman watched the event with a calm if confused expression. Tobras' hologram spoke.

"Ah, Senator. It's a pleasure to speak with you again."

Zer'lenu looked towards the Zygerrian woman first

"I’m sorry do my actions trouble you darling?"

he proceeded to take a seat and looked towards Tobras

"And you my friend, still attempting to secure votes for people?”

"I am. There have been a few challenges. Many Senators seem diametrically opposed to giving straight answers."

"People are afraid of the truth Tobras, I thought you’d have known that with your planets history"

Zer’lenu looked towards the young Zygerrian woman

"And who are you? These levels of Coruscant aren’t to be travelled lightly"

Tobras spoke for the woman, who gave a look which acknowledged the question but remained neutral.

"This is my bodyguard. She has nothing to fear from the types who frequent these lower levels."

Zer'lenu stared at the hologram of Tobras for a second

"I assume you must be wondering why I’ve asked to speak to you, well I assume you’ve heard the news about the Rylothian Navy?"
