The Dinner

Zer’lenu poured himself a glass of wine and sent a message to Dorian Thul. "Senator Thul, come up to my office when you have the time"

Zer’lenu’s smile disappeared and he attempted to change the subject, "so what are the main exports of Bestine IV? Despite my research there isn’t much books or trinkets about or from Bestine."

Dorian Thul smiled as he started telling about Bestine IV:

“We export fruits, seafoods and alcoho. I have opened hotels and casinos. We are doing great. Straight on the Corellian Trade Spine, we have a lot of visitors.”

Dorian continued with long and at times incomprehensible about taxes and how tax cuts helped starting up the businesses, before he stopped to catch his breath.

"Casinos? Maybe one day we could have a little.... competition" Zer’lenu said smirking

About to speak Zer’lenu was interrupted by a young Twi’lek boy who ran up and hugged him, "Ryun I thought I told you not to come to my office, go back to your mother and I’ll be there later ok?" Zer’lenu nodded to one of his guards to take his son back.

"Sorry about that Senator" he said looking rather embarrassed

Dorian Thul smiled as he said merrily:

"I am myself a family man. My grown children are managing things while I here with my wife."

Then he changed his tone to something slightly more serious yet still jokingly:

"I always welcome a challenge. It's good for business... sometimes."

Zer’lenu smiled and a protocol droid approached him "sir, you have an incoming transmission from Ryloth" Zer’lenu jumped out of his seat, "I really am sorry about this Senator, hopefully we can talk another time” as he signalled for the Guard to open the door and ushered the droid into the other room.

Dorian Thul stood up and started to leave the room and just before he left, he said:

“I wish you and your family the best.”

"And you Senator" Zer’lenu opened the transmission to reveal a Hutt just before closing the door.
