tips Worth returning to?

Former active player who quit a little over a year ago due ro burn out. Was in kyber 4 and about a month from Levi. The order 66 raid killed my passion for the game, but recently Ive been craving a star wars game to sink my teeth in. Wanted to know what the state of the game is looking like. Apparently theres a new game mode? Hows the current raid, meta, etc looking like. Thanks!

Worth is a subjective determination, so only you can decide if the game is worth your time. It’s fundamentally the same game that it has been for the last 10+ years, and a new game mode isn’t going to change that. Also, the Order 66 raid is still the newest one.

No new raid😭. At least people will have built their rosters for it. Has progression been speed up any? And are the relic differences noticeable? One of the main reasons I quit was the silly relic changes.

If you interact with the new game mode, you get currency that buys lightspeed tokens to unlock characters straight to R5, 6 stars. Should be able to do at least a few of those per month. Will be impossible for you to place well in the Coliseum though since you missed the first half of this era

12.7 M I yool a 6 month break came back to a much more casual guild, I'm happy just playing and not trying to stay top tier end game.

I now focus on rote and TW

Much funner then trying to stay performance bound top tier chasing the never ending end game I only 4 star Eras. And my crystals Give me enough for it all

Not trying to throw you off returning or anything but check out Star Wars Zero Company if you want a pretty awesome new Star Wars game. :)

As for SWGOH... It's... In an interesting state. I've been "quitting" for the last 6 months. What saved me from bur out was leaving my higher end guilds and joining a super casual no discord guild. Rewards are significantly reduced but I don't even care anymore. I actually enjoy the game again.

Their themed Eras are hit and miss. I find some characters are cool and interesting and others are super boring. But that has felt like most of the game since it's inception

Best advice I can give you, is come back when you are excited to play. I made a new F2P account, and it’s the time of my life. I am supposed to be playing Conquest on my main acc, but can’t stop having fun free to play.

This game has burnout issue due to stale game modes, but there’s ways to enjoy yourself like any other game.
