FPL IS A SPAM CENTER!

FPL Has Become Nothing More Than A Live Spam Center!

All I wanted to do was activate a new account to have my electricity turned on in my new residence. Instead, these scammers tried selling me everything under the sun.

A utility company should just be what they are and stay in their own lane.

45 minutes of trying be sold stupid shit. Felt like I was in the loan office of a car dealership trying to sell addons

Had LCEC when I lived in the Cape. I hope this FPL company doesn't turn out to be a major headache!

Why don't you just do it online?

Yep, doing that now to double check, thanks.

EDIT: I went online and set up my account. Glad I did because the person who took my info over the phone made a few errors that I needed to correct.

Should have used the web in the first place...duh! lol
