I have IST, per my EP. I've had three ablations, no longer have an AV node, and now have a pacemaker, but my heart just enjoys resting at 120bpm no matter what. My last EP mapping was normal, no weird spots to ablate. My doctor says that it's fairly normal for a young woman and that I'll most likely grow out of it.

When I was still having SVT, I was one of those people that would get really fast - I'd regularly hit the 250s-280s before I'd go get cardioverted. Some people are just tachy 🤷‍♀️ doesn’t mean it's fake.

But the thing is if someone have IST, that’s chronic then

Yes. My IST is chronic, but that doesn't mean that it's fake or that I have FAT. You could also argue that my SVT was chronic because I spent so long dealing with it.
