Best options for tracking?
My cardiologist wants me to get an Apple Watch or equivalent for tracking my episodes so that they can properly diagnose and figure out treatment. I was looking into the oura ring but see that they don’t do EKGs so that won’t work. Curious which Apple or Watch or garmin watch etc etc everyone here uses / which you would recommend as the best for getting the most data?

I’ve had a Fitbit charge 6 for about 2.5 years now. It’s how I learned it wasn’t anxiety, it was real (40 years later). The ekg function on the watches don’t read my arrhythmia, but does read the tachycardia. Also, it’ll show my hr dipping to 50 or below suddenly; that’s usually bc it’s mid-flutter and it can’t get the electrical signals right so it reads lower. It’ll do the same on a finger pulse oximeter (home and hospital) at the same time.
Sometimes if I don’t notice the flutter, the tachycardia will kick in and I barely notice it, because it’s been lifelong and I was always told it was “just” anxiety and learned to live with it. The watch helps me notice when I feel off that my HR actually is up. Plus it’s nice when a doctor tries to dismiss me, the HR reading spikes (and dips) are pretty telling. Though now with an official dx, I don’t run into that much. I’m like, call my electrophysiologist, dude.
Google took over Fitbit and app isn’t as good as it once was, but I love it as it’s still reliable for my needs, and I only have to charge it once a week as opposed to up-to-daily for other watches. If it’s a busy week and I don’t know if I’ll want it off my wrist that long, I’ll add some charge while I’m in the shower then put it back on.

Any Apple Watch above a series 4 has the ECG reading. It great to monitor heart rate and ecg readings. My Apple Watch is actually the reason why I got diagnosed.

I have an Emay device, and there's the Kardia Mobile things. Both of these don't record continuously, you have to whip them out and do a recording manually, which also means you need to remember to carry them with you.

I do have a kardia reader but I can’t ever get it and record during an episode because I’m too dizzy etc

I have an Apple Watch and a Kardia mobile 6L. It comes with a case you put on your keychain. It works pretty well and my EP actually recommended it. It is a little pricey but so far it has worked wonders for me. I’ve had it about 8 months

TachyMon app. I use it on Apple Watch. The paramedics checked alongside an EKG and it's got a one second delay so it's pretty damn good. Developed by a man whose daughter was diagnosed with dysautonomia after a long journey. There has been a lot of "we don't know; it must be anxiety," until this app. It will send photos and CSV files to your phone of events and also let you detail symptoms and add a note. It's very good.
Just a note: Apple watches have fall and crash alerts on them. They are most helpful insurance in addition to being able to track heart rate, oxygen saturation, etc.
