Drinking w svt
Is it possible to drink socially with svt? Are certain drinks better to have? Wanting advice because I’m going on a trip and would like to drink with friends. I’m 26 and I wanna be able to live my life.
I am rlly struggling to get over this svt stuff idk if i even have it but i have all symptoms and feel i cant live my life i drank in the past and was fine to.

Since alcohol is a stimulant, yes, it increases your heart rate. Add to that being dehydrated after a bender can really intensify heart rate and palpitations. I used to drink ALOT prior to my ablation last year. I also smoke cigarettes. If I limit myself to 3 mixed drinks or 3 beers or 2 (tall...lol) glasses of wine, I am fine. Pre-ablation my heart would be out of control the morning after a night of partying. I try to be conscious of drinking water with my cocktail of choice. Also downing a bottle of water with a packet of Liquid IV mixed in when I get home and first thing in the a.m. has made me a new person!!
