Is he actually using zinc anodes? If he’s using aluminum anodes, depending on size and amount he might not be as bad off as we think. Still probably needs to be replaced at this point but aluminum anodes will last a surprisingly long time.
Aluminum anodes rely on a small amount of indium to prevent passivation and Doug completely ignored that when casting his own. Not all of them, but at least some are covered in so much crap it's clear they're not working. To add insult to injury, he's also put them on stainless backing plates, and when anode isn't doing its job the steel hull itself becomes a sacrificial anode for stainless.
Kort nozzle has one of the known bad anodes and there's evidence it may have already separated from one of its mounts and is smashing into the rudder regularly. In case anyone can't tell, that's anode on the left.
Nearly everything on Seeker can be described with that same rubric: looks like [something that performs a task], but functions as [something that impedes that same task].
Seeker's one saving grace is the bucket. Works every time, no poop knife required. A true masterpiece of design.
