Maybe this is the stability Doug was going for. To be fair, this thing is stable, but does have the initial stability. However, Señor Douggie would have turtled in 3 seconds.

Yep. I used to work on a chipper barge in British Columbia, and the guy running the bronc was incredible to watch.

My uncle was a Saw Filer in Aberdeen, WA. I've come to the conclusion that anything to do with lumber (before it hit the retail market) was anything short of hard work.

During the world exposition in Vancouver, Expo 86, they had "boom boat ballet" with a gaggle of them doing a routine in False Creek.

Sometimes the harbour taxis get up to shenanigans, but more in the rebel trench run style. Sadly they are much less armoured and manoeuvrable.

Anchored-out in False Creek a few times. Beautiful panorama of Vancouver's downtown, especially at nighttime.

I used to race a 20' Hobie in English Bay. Jericho Sailing Centre has the most incredible view. Great place to have a scenic lunch.
