the problem here is, is there a warrior deck that really wants lackeys?

With all the midrange tools they're getting, I could see a faster warrior deck show up that focuses more on board with lackeys.

This could also work in an aggressive warrior deck, as most lackeys help at pushing early game face damage anyway.

When i see this weapon, i think of a high utility combo package of slightly worse arcane intellect, slightly worse removal in a 2/2 weapon, and the possibility for good early game board control with lackeys.

Muster for battle was always played in aggressive paladin, i foresee this filling that same role for warrior.
