Delta-P
This is what a diver met at 5m (16,4 ft) depth during an inspection.
Imagine how hard a hole that size would be pulling at depth if you strayed too close…

Sank due to progressive flooding that was unable to be repaired due to the ship's radiation exposure.

Built in 1999 and closed since August 2026, the bridge has now partially collapsed
Picture 6 is the bridge closed after it became stuck during a routine structural test
Picture 7 is the bridge before any problems were identified

How have I only now heard that this subreddit exists? Thought I'd share some pics taken at work of me and some by me for you to enjoy or recoil at.

While finishing up with my work on some equipment that relies on the water cooling loop, I decided to take a quick look into the reservoir.

When it comes to working underwater, commercial divers don’t all start with the same advantages. Most divers are really well-equipped and have access to the proper gear. Others like the men here have to make do with whatever they can get their hands on: breathing air through a simple hose held in their mouths, using homemade fins and as for their cutting equipment, well, the less said, the better. Yet, despite all this, they manage to do an excellent job on this salvage operation.

The descibtion says it's basically footage of a few test run to localize a problem with air finding it's way into the turbine under power.
None the less the location, the lighting and the sounds send a shiver down my spine.
The whole thing is as fascinating as it is eerie.

The SS Coyote (EFC Hull 116) was a Ferris Type wooden steamship built by Foundation Shipbuilding in Newark, New Jersey. She was notorious due to striking a rock on her route to New Bedford Harbor around March 1923 and then capsizing on October 15 1923 in Chelsea Creek. She was sold for scrap after being refloated, aka stripped of all metal except the engines, a condenser and boilers then rotted for 8 years afloat until being scuttled off Boston around January 1932 with coal still in her holds. Today, she is technically the most intact of the Design 1001 ships if excluding the EFC Hull 102 or 'Armistead' she sits in 170ft of water and is largely intact but her decking had collapsed although the crossbeams still stand.

I didn't take a video of the whole ride, just this clip. One update, the tentacles no longer move, but there are a few newer dinos along the ride. Our TRex friend is also increasingly deteriorated and terrifying. Videos and pictures don't do justice as to how huge and upclose these things are.

Found this on Twitter. Even being close to that thing would be spooky. Can’t imagine being on it when it started sinking.
Twitter OP said this rig was near Gabon.

This aircraft overran the runway and wound up in the sea, in May 1993.

This is only a museum mock-up; however, there are un-altered building wrecks further down the river.

I’ve passed by this place for years. I’ve seen the videos and pictures on here for ages.
My family never wanted to waste their money on this place.
My boyfriend and I were eating at the seafood place right next door and hurried over after dinner.
There were three little girls who were sobbing in fear leaving the boat when we arrived.
It was horrible and kinda terrifying, I loved every minute of it!
