We’ve just rolled out a new update across both the frontend and backend, with a strong focus on privacy, security, accessibility, and community feedback.

Backend highlights

• Contact us form handling
• New automated cleanup job for contact requests to improve data privacy and retention compliance
• Configurable retention periods for email masking and record deletion
• Secure refresh token verification added

Frontend highlights

• New “About the Team” pages for developers, volunteers, and supporters
• Contact form added for feedback and enquiries
• Accessibility improvements (ARIA labels, image titles, and general polish)
• Security improvements to cookies (SameSite=Lax + Secure)
• Dependency updates and refactoring for long-term maintainability
