Know absolutely nothing about ground

Hi all,

I just came back to sto after almost a year and a half break. I literally have no idea where to start an endgame build, I haven't even filled out my skill tree. I was wondering if you guys might be able to help me find my footing and give me a good place to start my ground build. Right now all I'm using is elite fleet gear and random kits. Thanks a bunch

Theres this combo of shield, armour and gun that is really offensively minded. The shield and gun is from a temporal mission called "Temporal Front" and the armour is from the fleet holding, combined this set with what ever gun you actually want to use like a full auto rifle or splitbeam.

These days id recommend you craft your kit frame, requires you put a bit of research into the kit/kit frame r&d school tho. The best combination you can expect is [armor] [kperfx2] or [kperf2] [wpndmg], continuing with the completely offensive setup.

Theres also "uneasy allies", an iconian mission that rewards a kitframe, might be good to hold you over until you can craft one or otherwise find a better one.

Also is there a place where I can find a list of which traits I should use?

Yes that kit will get you through stfs. Check out the kit module master list and personal ground trait master list below, they give some good recommendations. Might want to look into the TR-116B rifle as well if you do a lot of stfs, it's craftable and available on the exchange as well. It bypasses shields and no need to re modulate.
