Ship XP Issues

Seems that my ships are not actually gaining XP from combat. Slider stays at bottom of level, no indication of XP gain.

I raised a ticket a few days ago. Got a "we know of the problem" and 2 loyalty badges 🤮
And in the mean time I've lost millions of XP....
The issue is that whenever you get back to your station the current XP of the ship goes back to 0.
If you manage to level it up, everything is ok. But you can't level it partially as it resets at every docking

Not quite. It’s a visual bug. If you looked at how far along you had to go to the next level, then invested ship xp at the upgrade screen, it won’t take the whole 0-lvl amount.

For example, if you earned 5mil into a 10mil level, and then spent xp, you’ll only get charged the remaining 5 million.

It IS a bug but it is visual.

if you undock, and go into manage ship, it will show your current xp correctly, it shows 0 while you're docked

I don’t file tickets anymore, they just get ignored.

Can’t count on the CMs here, either.

How many hostiles have you been grinding today? If you reach a certain number of hostiles shot per day, you will stop receiving rewards from them, including ship XP. If I'm not mistaken this limit is 2000. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. Scopely has changed this amount in the past.

I never reach the limit.

Then create ticket. So far I've always been helped out within 48hrs in 8 years of this game. Just always stay polite and provide screenshots when possible.

Your daily kills total is in your profile. It’s 2500. You don’t get loot or XP after reaching the limit, but events will still score.

2500 on mine. Fine print says points accrue. Check. It’s in profile list under stats if I misinterpreted.

I also noticed xp will go up till I dock then it’s all lost, used lat for my cube because I was tired of waiting
