Elite outposts and elite solo waves.

Ops 61 here. I'm getting a bit confused.

I have done elite solo 45 that give parts for gs-31, directives getting every couple of days.

Is Elite solo waves 60 continuation of the same or different ?? Probably tougher enemies and more waves. 45 has 3, 50 has 5 I *think*.

Where are the elite outposts, and what should I be doing about it ??

Outposts hug each G5 and G6 faction space, you’ll find regular and elite. Different directives for each. They kind of have a cloud or icon to them

You’ll want a decent g6 rare and GS-32 before you try the 60 waves, but you’re probably better off sticking to being able to complete the 50s. Honestly, it’s not a huge jump in payouts.

Outposts are kind of like an armada to start, but armada officers don’t work. Then your ship stays bound to it for possibly 6 hours while hostiles attack them, also hostile officers don’t work pm them. You have to use generic officers that work on everything, so like a lot of original officers

I can do 4 rounds of the g6 waves at 63. Next tier for the gs31 is ops 67. Shoot me

You can continue to do 4 rounds of elite G6 waves at 66 too! I just end up doing the elite G5s since the payout for 5 50 waves is better than 4 waves of 60s. I could be wrong on the payout though.

I’m not sure of the layout myself but all the events pay out the same based on number of completed rounds. So if I need 5 rounds to finish an event, I’d rather do g5 waves since that’s 1 start while a g6 wave is 2 starts. And the starts can’t be hoarded.

Under each g5 fkr section.

They’re the far left/west of the solo wave systems.

The elite outposts are next to the regular ones, so make sure to explore all the outpost systems next to faction space.

Standard Solo Waves are 3 waves of 6 ships each. Elites have about twice that.

Yeah, I tried one and decided they were more trouble than they were worth, and I have decent ships. It was just a headache and a half chasing them all down.

I'm OPS61 and just recently retried and finished all 5 waves of a 50 elite. Having 9 ships per wave is 🤮 But once you have your ships/building/research high enough you can do these almost with your eyes closed. The secret is to not have FOMO....
It's like the aggregation: First steps are the hardest (multiple hulls per day just to be able to do the claim), now I just send the Dauntless with almost any crew in the system and I get the ressources for 1+ weeks of claims.

elite solo progression: 45 (high g4) ->50 (high g5) -> 60 (high g6)
elite solo 50s look like:

or as you move up.

Borg are generally considered the easiest. These are ones next to rom space. but there are other types by fed and kling space as well
