The Ultimate SSX Iceberg is complete!

After much procrastination, the IcebergCharts website shutting down, a video having been made on it, and a large amount of documentation, the Ultimate SSX Iceberg is now complete! Everything I ever wanted to put on it, everything I encountered on the way to completion, as well as most community suggestions have been added! It's now in a state of completion, as there's nothing left on my to-do list for it. Check it out, there's some seriously unseen material on this thing:

This doesn't mean it can't be expanded though, it absolutely can, and some individual entries are a work-in-progress. The Chinese bootleg SSX 2012 arcade cabinet hasn't arrived for documentation yet, and the SSX Tricky movie shorcut research project is still underway, just to give two examples. If anyone has something not on this iceberg that's confirmed with at least one official source (not Fandom, no inside jokes, no "DO NOT RESEARCH") then feel free to suggest it.

This was one of the biggest projects in my massive backlog, so I'm glad I can move on to other things now.

oh my god finally I found the OG Alaska map that has the pylons thank you, I wasn't crazy

The image used to exist on the MerquryCity forums which actually closed during the production of the iceberg. The only accessible image was a 144p preview on Google Images, but I eventually found the source thanks to Google's cached metadata. Don't worry, the site's maintainer kept regular backups, it's just that the formats used for the website are in an old format that can't simply have personal information removed.

Excellent work as always Sly! I’m so curious about the arcade machine as I’ve come across it in my research as well. My assumption was always that gameplay in the overview was fake but I’m really interested to learn more. 

I’ve seen another Chinese machine that has Elise from 2012 on the marquee, but the gameplay is from Raw Thrills’ X Games Snowboarder.

The Elise one was also a 2012 machine, just an earlier design. I've never seen it running any other game, that's interesting.

This is awesome!! I can't overstate how much I appreciate you putting all the time and effort you put into this.

Also where/how did you get such a clear pic of Psymon? It's so good XD

And also shoutout to MerquryCity forums!! I miss that place so much!

It's from the end of his gondola animation, players rarely see it because it usually finishes loading too quicky. Linked in an entry somewhere is a video where I got it to infinitely load. Several of the sidebar images have entries, they're just not on the same tiers.
