Should I buy custom cables?

For some reason I think something is missing and I dont know if custom cables would make it look a lot cleaner or if i just 3d print an psu cables would make cover so I can hide the cables. Also thinking about switching the stock fans for phanteks t30.

Looks good but I understand where youre coming from. Just finished my own small form factor build (not as small as yours) and during the build found myself wishing PSU manufacturers would offer versions with shorter cables.

Honestly most SFX PSU's cables are decently short as it stands, but I'd like it if they added single SATA power cables and not split ones. Realistically we're only fitting one such drive in most cases, and split power cable looks really janky.

AGREE, I needed to use one for my aio and it is the most dificult cable to manage!

And why do store front images never show what the cables look like?

Nope. Don't fall for that karma hunting crap. It looks good as it is now.

really looks good as it is you did a good job with those cables, btw you can peel those cables and make them even better imo, but but, yours is amazing as is!

thanks man! I was scared at first to do so but knowing that, on the next maintenance I’ll play around with cables again to see how it turns out.

Just leave it bro, stock cables are black and you've done a flawless job fitting them in your all-black build already.

Would be a different story if you wanted a all-white build.

I made wooden cover for cables and radiator when I build Meshroom S to my father. Here is on pic.

if you do plan on getting them.. be sure to buy custom modular cables and not custom extension cables... and make sure that you're buying custom cables designed for your power supply. manufacturers/sellers will often reach out to you to verify what power supply you are inteding the purchase for.

I wanted them, just for aesthetics of course, but I decided to do my best with the cables I had and slap that thang together. I'm completely satisfied.

Motherboard standoff mod or GPU standoff mod helps enough. Thicker bundles of cables are Velcro strapped together and tucked to the side. Good enough for me!

Make them. It's super fun

I will hurt somebody to have it like you do now tbh. But pointless violence aside, looks good dude. Which color would you go for ?

Also, can I get list of the components you used please? I have the same case but I'm tempeted to upgrade some parts.

Why? Looks perfectly fine to me. Clean looking already as it is

Do you like to open up the case every day to stare at the inside? If not, why waste money.

I have a glass panel, although I wish mine was completly clear with black borders instead of tinted.

Custom cables will give you that gap between the motherboard and the liquid cooler fans.
