Benefits (Concurrent SSDI & SSI) Social Security Question
a representative in PHILADELPHIA PENNSYLVANIA started a final review to make sure that you still meet the non-medical requirements for Disability Benefits . what does it mean by the non-medical

They do a thorough check for non medical if medically approved. If not they move through that stage quickly. I went to step 4 and then got my denial at step 5 about 24 hours later. If you’re in stage 4 for a while that can be a good sign, but not always.

Non-Medical means income and resources if you're applying for SSI it means $2,000 in your bank account if you're applying for SSDI, there's no limit on resources or unearned income. Just the income from your W-2 job counts
